Dysfunctional Planner

A group of our friends were joking around one Sunday catching up on life, ordering pizza and within a few minutes we agreed a date and booked a pub for the weekend.

We thought it would be a fun Christmas party for us. 5 couples 5 kids and one dog. Illness meant that we were 1 couple and two kids down but other than that it was pretty perfect. The pub was a cute old pub in Tetford called the White Hart Inn. It had 3 roaring fires, warm bedrooms a kitchen and fully working pumps so would could buy some kegs at 80p per pint.

I can’t tell you how much fun it was.

A pub quiz! Games a very long frosty walk through farmers fields and making a snowman in the snow.

How incredibly beautiful is the English countryside!

I learned to pull my first pint, lager is more tricky than ale and it’s all about speed and angles, I can’t even tell you how much I drank.

It didn’t stop us going for a very long walk on the frosted farmers land. The views were impressive and magical. As we walked we all warmed up but the ground was too spiky for frank and he often ended up being held. When it snowed over night he found the ground wonderful. but Franks favourite place was by the fire or curled up on a cushion.

All in all we had a pretty perfect weekend. Now we can’t wait to share another weekend together next year.

I have been friends with these girls for over 20 years so it’s lovely to hang out, catch up and relax.
