I am so excited about sowing. We actually have no plans this weekend so I can take a few hours and potter around the garden.
My main aim is to tackle the brambles. I want them all gone. This is at least a two hour job so I need to make a big dent in this. Once it’s done then I will just have to maintain them. It also means my pumpkin/ squash patch which is going to be excited. In a very slow growing kind of way.

I just went through my seed packets and realised that I have far too many pumpkin/ courgettes. I will only grown two of each this month, and another I a few weeks. That way I can make sure that my seedlings survive. Last year I had 5 plug plants and two of them were prolific! One was the Bianca di Trieste, so I bought seeds.
I will grow them in pots on my window sill( just don’t tell Gavin) and nurture them till they are big enough to go outside.
I will bore you with seed talk… but what can I say, tis the season.
