A weekend in the garden

Seeds to sow

April is crazy sowing month. It’s getting warmer and there are no signs of frost. My green house is still broken so it’s warm but not the perfect temperature for growing so I still have to bring things inside.

Something took a big bite out of my artichoke so I brought it inside to protect it. My sweet peas are growing and so is my crown Prince. I brought them inside a while ago and soon they will go in the soil and hopefully thrive. As I want to encourage more bugs I will put these in my flower beds where they will hopefully thrive.

I took the step and sowed some sweetcorn. Just 5 seeds this week and I will sow another 5 next week. This will hopefully give a few corn husks for the summer time.

My tomatoes have not seeded at all, so I sowed a few more for good measure but my leaks are about a cm currently and my coriander is also sprouting.

My apple trees are all in bloom this week which is wonderful, we should get a few apples but I will happy with the tree focusing on its roots and strength.

I have so much more to do, and so much more to grow.
