Buying more art

I love prints. Don’t get me wrong, we buy prints a lot from the London print club and then we ran out of wall space.

So we moved, joking.

I made a promise to myself that I would invest in actual art as well as prints. I am not a fan of prints you can buy online at the big print shops.

Prints should have runs….. rather than an unlimited amount. so that they are a little more personal.

This photo above is a massive inspiration, especially the prawn in bed with a plaice! It’s incredible and I need it. The artist is Filipino which is another reason I wasn’t to go to the Philippines!

I promised myself that I would buy more art. I was watching a Finnish artist and I saw her painting of a greenhouse and fell in love. She did make prints of it but for a present to myself I bought it and it’s beautiful!

It has inspired me to pick up my pencil and draw, I want a gouache set of paints for Christmas!

I need a cute frame for it, and a house to hand it in!
