I dont celebrate Valentine’s Day. 

I have always thought it was a day to remind people of there loneliness.

We have been together 16 years in March. And two years ago my husband was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer, we caught it early, two operations and no chemo, so far all clear. It was a harrowing year, we were so lucky.

So I urge you to check your stool. If in doubt go to the doctor.

So now I celebrate small things and dates I thought were silly.

I have always loved dark, longing love, Frankenstein for Elizabeth when she is gone is bare emotions are raw and violent. Dracula for Mina …. Heathcliff for Catherine, Lucius Hunt for Ivy, spike and Buffy. 

Not sure what that says about my relationship with husband. 

I love love and truly believe in it. So today I am sending out into the world nothing but love!
