Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?

I am not English.

My dad is Seychellois and my Mum is Jersey.

So I am half Seychellois half British and I proud. Yes.

We are not our Governments and we are not our Governments history.

The UK has a terrible history of colonisation however this was the world, it was colonise or be colonised. Hideous things were done to people of the world.

How different the world is now….

Oh no it’s not that different.

America are trying to displace Gaza after Briton misplaced Palestinians after the war by giving a home to the feeling Jews, and now they are happy to eradicate the Palestinians.

Briton is doing nothing to help this situation.

Am I proud of my governments no.

Am I proud of the governments around the world.

No.

But we are not our Governments.
