I have been thinking a lot about small tattoos

What tattoo do you want and where would you put it? I have one, on my back, the initials of my family, thank god I didn’t put my exes on too, ha ha. I am craving small little tattoos on my arm. I would like to get one with my sister but she is a…

The upside to no social media: no more toxic booktok

I don’t miss social media but I do feel I have a social media muscle memory of showing things, reading tidbits and scrolling when I have a few free moments. I catch myself taking a photo then deleting it. But the upside has been an improvement in focus and mindset. Now I leave the room…

First day back

After a year of cancer my husband went back to work. He returned to the same company he used to work for, as he didn’t want any extra stress. I think he has made the right decision but I still worry. He gets tired easily. But we had a nice morning. Getting up early, cooking…

What activities do you lose yourself in? Gardening has meant a lot to me. Today I checked on my seedlings and I have sweet peas, peas, marigolds and grandiflora candy tufts growing. There is something about seeds, dirt and growth. Something about watching nature grow. Escaping in the garden for minutes and hours. A place…

It’s magnolia season and I am here for it

I live these early spring flowers and I happen to live in an area that is full to the brim of them. They are magnificent. White Pink Burgandy I have no interest in eating them. I just love watching them flower and then leaving them to nature. We have this small tree which will be…

Of course I am superstitious but only in a good way

Are you superstitious? I believe in karma, I believe in Mother Nature , in Physics and Science. I don’t believe in fate. I worked in a shop that sold mirrors and after breaking my third I realised that bad luck was a silly superstition that didn’t hold any power, not with me. By the time…

Dreaming of these window boxes

I tried to find the owner of the picture but it leads back to Instagram and someone sharing a photo, then sharing a photo. It’s trickier not being on instagram so if this beautiful photo is your creation please let me know. I would love to know what flowers these are as I really would…
