Still sowing seeds? As you should be.

I keep seeing so many instagram posts with huge plants and full gardens…. Already.

I know it’s almost June, so almost summer however the weather hasn’t been great. I don’t think anyone should be putting so much pressure to have fully grown plants yet. I am hoping for a long hot summer.

I sowed some carrots directly into my allotment bed but the local gorgeous cat has decided that it makes a much better toilet then it does a growing bed. So my seeds have been scattered all over the place. I really hope she stops otherwise I will have to tell her off and invest in a net, which is another expense I handle planned for.

I am going to start planting my seedlings out.

I am still sowing and putting in bulbs and tubers and corms.

The sun is going to boost all my seeds and all my seedling and plants.

Remember to water, but not too much, and feed you plant babies.

Happy Saturday!

  1. Good luck, love seeing your progress. Here in Texas we plant around Valentine’s Day early crop & by July garden is done before searing heat. In Colorado Eric & Alex & Mike just beginning to plant. Squirrels have been eating our stuff. Our carrots very few came up, hail destroyed it. Cheers
