What daily habit do you do that improves your quality of life?
It’s going to be a hot one today, which means no walk for Frank, that is until he woke up at 6am and had the devil inside him.
He, like lots of French bulldogs, has allergies. Sometimes he licks him raw and nothing can stop him. It was bad this morning. He would have scratched all his skin off.
I took him downstairs and decided to take him to the park.
He won’t get a walk later on so this was a good time to go.
He normally doesn’t walk unless Gav is present but Gav was fast asleep and I had to get this controlled fast. So I dragged him to the park. He walked some of it and was dragged the rest. As soon as I got there he was like a different dog.
He sprinted down the path.
He chased squirrels, we had running races and loved every minute of it. The light was low and pretty and soon it will be too dark for early walks.

I am sweating now. But without this walk we would have seen the parakeets, magpies pigeons and flowers.
I would not have chased Frank, through a mostly empty park.
Walking every day helps improve your life. This morning it was all for Frank and I am so grateful for him. For his energy. For this walk filled with beautiful flowers and creatures.

I walked at his pace, let him sniff and roll.
I am not an early morning person but I thoroughly enjoyed this start.
I watered my tomatoes that are never going to turn red.
And hopefully Frank won’t lick his paws raw this morning.
As I am writing this he is gently snoring.
So tell the people you love, you love them and check your stool it may save your life.
